Josh Congello, Attorney at Law

Josh grew up in Mason City, Iowa and graduated a Mohawk in 2011. Coming home to zealously advocate for friends and family was important to Josh as he still has a lot of strong relationships within Mason City.

Josh is compassionate and supportive with his clients and he ensures that he takes enough time and care to ensure the client that he or she is being heard. He is aware that while many legal issues can be difficult and complex, there needs to be a strong level of communication between the attorney and client in order for the client to feel comfortable and aware of the process. Josh is tailoring his practice around transactional law but he has a variety of experience in other areas as well.

Prior to joining the Pappajohn, Shriver, Eide & Nielsen, PC law firm in Mason City, Josh clerked for a personal injury law firm in Suburban Minneapolis, the Floyd County Attorney’s Office and he worked for the Iowa House Majority Caucus during the 2016 elections.

In his free time, Josh likes to spend time with friends and family. Josh is close with his parents who have lived in Mason City and have worked at MercyOne North Iowa for nearly 30 years. When not at the office, Josh likes to golf, cook, watch and attend sporting events with friends and spend time with his two dogs, Scooby and Zoe.
